Hello Group:

I have a MFC application. It includes around 10 different Doc/View, each of them have their own menu. I want to add a menu item that will appear on every menu, but i do not want to get into each doc/view to change their menu system. Is there any way i can do that.

Thanks for any help

Unfortunately, you're going to have to add it. However, there is another way, instead of using the resource editor, you can use the source editor. Use File | Open to open the resource file. However, at the bottom of the dialog, select Open as Text.

From here, you can edit the resource file and insert the same menu choice into several menus by using cut and paste. This would be the quickest way of adding the same entry into multiple menus.

But. How the tools menu of Microsoft Visual Studio did that.
