Hi iqofone,

 Here some advice. First you need to know how both file types look like.
 Therefore you go to : http://www.wotsit.org/

 Then you search if somebody already looked at it.
 Therefore you go to (for yuv):  http://www.webartz.com/fourcc/indexyuv.htm
 --> you get the algorithmen for transfering YUV to RGB / RGB to YUV

RGB to YUV Conversion

Y  =  (0.257 * R) + (0.504 * G) + (0.098 * B) + 16
Cr =  (0.439 * R) - (0.368 * G) - (0.071 * B) + 128
Cb = -(0.148 * R) - (0.291 * G) + (0.439 * B) + 128

YUV to RGB Conversion

B = 1.164(Y - 16)                   + 2.018(Cb - 128)
G = 1.164(Y - 16) - 0.813(Cr - 128) - 0.391(Cb - 128)
R = 1.164(Y - 16) + 1.596(Cr - 128)

Then you make it possible to translate it from one type to the other, in Delphi.

For this you can search for freeware components with source which to such things.

Look at http://www.torry.ru for example.

And then, after hard work... you got what you want and can refine it.

Hope this helps you a little bit further.

Regards, Zif.

I need to know the exact file format of your YUV file.
I have written converters for about 15 image file formats with various sub-formats each, so I am very sure I can help you.
Email me a sample YUV file to peter@preview.org or let me know which application created it.
Also, when you send me a file, tell me the characteristics = width, height, color depth, maybe: alpha channel/ transparency.

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

Hi ptiemann2, the links above bring you to the YUV formats. (I believe there are several). Zif.

(to ZifNab)
I thought he had a non-standard format. It could be some special hardware that creates a proprietary file.
