I haven't been able to figure out what the question mark means in ASP.  I have 2 books on ASP and it isn't in either of them.  What I mean is something like this:
http://www.test.org/menu.asp?edit
Or something like that.  Does it call a subroutine in a script file?  Please help.

The ? allows you to pass aparameters to the ASP file. for instance:

http//your.server.com/anaspfile.asp?Value1=Hello

Now, within the anaspfile.asp file you would have:

The value I received was: <%=Request.Querystring("Value1") %>

It will print out this: The value I received was: Hello

----------
As for just a plain anasppage.asp?edit, it will only pass the value... ie.. the value I received was: edit

You can write a loop to get this:

<%
For each item in Request.QueryString
  Response.Write Item
Next
%>
