Energy Saver Extension

I would like to use the Energy Saver feature on my Apple Multiple Scan 15 Display, but when I open the control panel I get a dialog box which says "The Energy Saver Extension is not running. Either it is not installed or this machine does not support the Energy Saver control panel."

Indeed, it is not installed. (I bought the system remanufactured (by Apple) and it did not come with a floppy for the display software.)

Where can I get this extension?

I am running Mac OS 8.1 on a Performa 6116CD.

Hi,

The "Energy Saver" does not come installed on Performa's, but you can find and use it with your computer.

Basically, you will want to use "Energy Saver 1.1" and it comes on a foppy that came with the "Apple Multiple Scan 15 Display"

If you dont have this disk anymore, I can email it to you or you can download it from

More information on "Energy Saver" can be found at:

Thanks, it worked.  I don't know why I couldn't find it searching Apple's website.
