Are you looking for info on how they work? Much of the functionality of the BIOS is dependent on the brand of BIOS (Award, AMI, etc). The same is true for DOS, it is dependent on what version you are running. What BIOS do you have and what version of DOS do you want the info for?

i want a listing that might look as follows:

int 10 bios video
.........service xx (describe service)
.........example (mov ah,x
.......................any other op codes necessary...
.......................int 10)

something like this, but for all services and functions. again any help would be appreciated. i hope you can see what it is i want. thanks, eric

This depends on what BIOS you want info from. AMI Award, IBM, Compaq, are just some of the BIOS makers.

BIOS are different for each company, and a general FAQ sheet would be vauge at best.

Norton Guides are one of the most complete references to BIOS and DOS services. Give a look at this site:

http://shareware.intercom.es/servlets/busca?area=dos_ng

Also, you can call your favourite search engine and look for "norton guides".

Glad to have helped you, and thanks for the grade.

About the NG viewer, there are (I think at the same site I've told you) some programs which convert NG files into simple text.
