Parent.frames vs. top.frames

What is the difference between parent.frames and top.frames?
1 Solution
The difference is between "parent" and "top". "parent" refers to the immediate parent. "top" refers to the very top frame or window. So, if you have frame C within frame B within frame A, then:

C.parent.frames = array containing C
C.top.frames = array containing B
