Dear friends,

My problem is like this.

I have Exchnage server onto which I have users & their respective mailboxes.

Now my users are working on different projects. So they require different enviroment settings like drive mappings, oracle database etc. for different projects. So one user will login as different user name depending on what project he is working on.

How I can assign only one mailbox to one user who is logging on to NT as different user ?

Suppose my mailbox name is Parag & with that primary windows  Nt account associated is also parag. Now if I want to work on a different project I will login as parag1, how will I be able to access mail coming to mailbox parag ?

Please try to help me !!!

First if I understood You don¨t need a mailbox where many users access what you need is a Distribution list ( each list is associated with a email adreess, then in this list you may have many users as you won´t.

I hope this helps

Under profiles- exchange server service, you can define wwhat mailboxes this profile have to open simultanously. You then will get two or more mailbox- trees.

Thanks Pampa it did work for me about creating a DL & assigning a no. of users to it.

But one thing I would like to know is that whenever I create a profile on the client machine, I can't specify DL as the mailbox in that case I have to create profile for all the users which I have included in the DL or is there any workaround available?

You can't specify the DL as the degfault mailbox, but this is not neccesary becuase all the users will recive in their personal mailbox("Exchange do the work for you") and you also don't have to setup any "new" profile for the users wich integrated the DL.
Remember the DL has associated the USers("mailbox") wich will recive the mails.

Under NT you cannot use different Profiles to access different mailboxes because of the NT security.
You have to open several mailboxes at one time (and having several mailboxtrees).

The mailbox you want to open beneath your primary mailbox (the mailbox of the user you where logged on) you need to have the appropiate rights.
The other mailbox' users must grant you the rights for their mailboxes.
