Hi,
I have become a 8 mm streamer from a friend (he don't know more about the streamer than me). I don't know how I can install the streamer on my PC. He sad, that this is a IDE Stremer, but the Streamer is having a 34 pin connector (Floppy ??) and not a 40 pin IDE connector.

There is no type on the streamer! Only the name CONNER and some mysterious numbers...

Serial: CY09FSZ
Date: 94/30
29780-101
LMJB0232A-1
51250 N
11250N

???????????????????

Whats that for a streamer and how can I install this ?

Bye and thanks

This drive is a floppy based drive.  Conner 51250N 120 native/250Meg compressed drive.  Simply connect it on your floppy drive cable, and your set to go.  The drive uses a DC2120 Tape.  For more information on this drive, check out the following site.  http://www.seagate.com/support/tape/tapeinfo/fdcminic.shtml

Seagate bought Conner a few years ago.  Any questions, let me know.
