Hi,

you need to make sure you have compiled php3 together with apache web server.... you must do that to use them together.... how to do it? very simple....

get the source for apache and also php3.... once you have untar both of them read the readme file in php3... it will lead you every single step until you have configured your php3 and apache.... The steps are not that long but you need to do things according to the steps they asked and I can't recall them.... but it's straight forward I've done them a few times for my firm.... you also need to add a few lines in the httpd.conf .... the detail is also explained in the php3 readme file....

also make sure you compile the php3 to use whatever database you want to... follow the readme file.... a good database is mysql.... the best for php3... http://www.mysql.com best free DB as well...

sorry to be so general but hope that help....
