I am a big fun of quake I. Yes i know that quake II exists but i think that quake I is better to play over a network.
Does anyone nows any tricks like new weapons, extended armor,.. for quake I over a network. ( i think that when we select multiplayer the cheats vanish. Am i correct?)

Hi there,

Have you searched the web for things such as Capture The Flag etc.  I've not played Quake 1 for a while now but we had some really good games with some quakemods such as CTF, KillerQuake Pack, Rune Server.  These all add to the game and make it even better.  You might want to check out www.stomped.com or www.planetquake.com.

Pete
