how cai change or modified my modem system file to become more faster when i log in to the internet when my moden model is HSP moden V.8?

One of the best things to increase speed is to adjust your MTU and MTR - these are the maximum size packets that the modem will send at one time. One way to change it would be to go to the registry and search for "MTU" and change its value from 500 to 1574 or so. A safer way is to go to Tucows or Winfiles and download one of the modem optimizer programs - they can safely adjust your MTUs so that you will get the optimum speed for your modem. Setting these values to high can actually slow your modem down and cause disconnects. If you need further info just email me
