search function on homepage

Can anyone recommend an easy way to make a search formular on a homepage, it must only search my own web site. I use Frontpage98 but the incorporated search function never works although i have Frontpage extensions installed on the server

do your server allow cgi?  there are many cgi scripts out there that can do this.

Then you go to http://www.cgi-resources.com/Programs_and_Scripts/Perl/Searching/Searching_Your_Web_Site/ it has 30 difffernt search scripts the search your site. There are some that are free all the way up to to $200.00. It depends on other things of what you want it to do. hope this help. if you need any more help just ask.
