No sound effects in Space Cadet

I copied the game files from Win 95 Plus for Space Cadet and am now running Win 98.  I cannot get any sound effects, although I do have the wav files and can play them individually.  How can I fix this?

Did you install the game from the Win95 Plus setup executable file OR did you just copy the files (as you said).  The reason I´m asking is that some additional instructions that may be needed by Win95/98 to run the program properly may not have been copied if a proper installation (through the setup file) was not made.  These additional instructions (files) are copied to the Windows directory and (I think) maybe even to the Windows registry.  This could be why you have no sound.

I just copied the files and did not do a proper setup.  I no longer have Win95 Plus and am using Win 98....do you know what files are needed to resolve the sound problem?

I do need to know how to get to REGEDIT.  Please!!!!!  And thank you for your earlier response!
No problem!  First I would like you to note, do not do anything else with regedit other than following the instructions above.  If you delete or change any other info with regedit, you run a risk of damaging Windows 98 (unlikely unless you try to change or delete things out of it...)

Go to your Start Menu button in the lower left of the screen, and select Run.
Type regedit in the box and click Ok.  That's it!

Let me know how you do!
