scanning from HP to G3

i have an HP 1170cse OfficeJet Pro [printer, copier, scanner] and use Power Print to print; is there any way to allow the use of the scanning feature with the G3 Mac?

im going to make two assumptions...the device is NOT scsi and its NOT USB and its NOT ethernet...its a PC centronix type dealie or parallel. In which case your answer is no as no scanner drivers for mac recognize anything other than usb or SCSI. So as far as that goes youre out of luck.

the answer fits with other information i have received from other sources so the matter is now closed and out of my universe.
