open a file and write this resource into it and close the
file. is there a standard/proper way to do this ? how ?

FindResource will find your resource.
LoadResource will load it.
LockResource will lock it and return a pointer to your resource data.
SizeofResource will return its size, to be used with the pointer returned by LockResource.

The use of those functions, with your custom resource type should work and you should be able to write the binary data to a file opened with CFile.
