A static resouce conflict happens when two or more devices in your system are setup to use the same resource.  For example, if you have a network card and a sound card setup to use IRQ 5, then you have a static resource conflict.

How do you fix it?  It's easy in theory.  Change one of the devices to another resource.

If you post additional information about what resource and what devices are in conflict, I'm sure additional advice could be offered.

jhance,
I tried changing the irq and it didn't resolve the problem.. Do you have any other ideas?  Please let me know.

Thanks,
robbyb
