How can I manage through Perl to delete entire content of this file and fill it with the content of the FORM through POST action. is it possible since the file will get a 0 byte may cause problems. How can I do that only in PERL?

open( FID, "> file") || die "cannot open file: $!";
print FID "whatever you like";
# NOTE that you need the proper permissions to do this
