I would like to do following thing - I just guess it's solvable by alias and BDE managing, but if you have any other suggestions, fell free to suggest.<br />
Well, I'm writing application in Delphi 3 that is using Paradox tables and access them via BDE alias that points to directory placed on movable drive. There is also a copy of all tables on fixed drive, and another BDE alias for that. I know that it's possible for application to 'recognize' at initialization time that movable drive is missing, and instead of reporting some error, starts using copy tables on fixed drive.<br />
Do you have any ideas how to manage this? I know it is possible because I saw an application behaving this way.<br />
