So what are the requirements for becoming an expert?  I know that you have to fill out your qualifications and such, but I wasn't sure if there are general guidelines..

No requirements.  Anyone can be an expert.

Just go to the home page and click on "Expert Registration".  Also make sure you read and understand the customer agreement.

As soon as you register to be an expert, you will be able to answer questions immediately.
