Hi programmers,

I want to write basic client and server app, using TCP IP. as far as I have seen, the most popular component is WSocket from Fpiette. Now I want you to give me some samples of client and server apps if it is possible.

I tried to write some code with WSocket, but faced some problems. First when I want to send data buffer of length 16K, the receiver gets this buffer in two parts, the buffer does not arrive the receiver as a full one buffer. I am writing programs at the application layer and I expect that the component does all the dirty jobs at the lower layers and combines the TCP  data packets and then falls into an event in order to signal that buffer arrived.

Any suggestions, and code samples...

Thanx

Have you tried the components that comes with the ICS suite?
And also, F. Piette has a maillist about ICS, you can subscribe via his webpage..

If you download the ICS source, there is a couple of demo program included that are not available when you only download the TWSocket component...
