Hi.....
I have apache_1.3.0 running on Sparc-2 Solaris 2.5.
When I acces the cgi "g1.cgi" I get an error. Can anyone spot what is going on here.
The script runs ok on another sparc, so its not a problem with the script, but with user authentication.

also I added the users passwd with......
/apache_1.3.0/bin/htpasswd -c /etc/somedir/.htpasswd craiga

##access_log
194.70.47.186 - craiga [19/Jan/1999:14:10:10 +0000] "GET /cgi-bin/errors/g1.cgi HTTP/1.0" 500 443

Hi
You seem to be missing the "AuthUserFile" directive in your access.conf file.

AuthUserFile <filename>
ie AuthUserFile /WW/Admin/.htpasswd
