I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, but if it is not, I am hoping someone can direct me to the right place.  With that said,
I am using PageMaker 6.5 and the place I am using it at just upgraded from a much earlier version (5.0 or something like that) In the fill choice on the menu I could choose different shades of grey. Now I can only choose hash lines either straight, diagonal, crossed or combos, but not grey scales. Can I fix this?  Is there an option to fix this. I would appreciate any help greatly.

I'm assuming that you're are talking about using grey scales within frames or circles.  Click on the Rectangle icon in the toolbox.  Place a box on your page.  Right click on the box (make sure that it is selected) and choose Fill and Stroke.  The fill should say solid.  The color should be black.  Changing the tint will give you various shades of gray. Hope this helps.

Perfect!!! Thank you, I never saw that tint as an option before. I was just too used to the old way. That is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you.
