Hello, I am a business programmer looking for  more information on 32 bit extender tools.  I am new to the net but have heard a bit about something free online called DJCPP or something like that.  Where can I get this tool, and is it compatible with compilers like Borland C++ 4.52 (my compiler of choice)?  Anyone answering this please keep in mind I need a detailed answer (like any other tools I need to use this, and maybe some libraries too if they are available)  Thanks!

DJGPP can be located at http://www.delorie.com/

You'll find all the info that is neede there... DJGPP is a compiler for compiling 32-bit protected mode EXEs... YOu can only use AT&T assembler with it and not (intel assembler...)... That's pretty much it.. It is compatible with Borland C++, but there are some differences between the two.. For example if you are working with Mode 13h for graphics in DJGPP you first need to enable some near pointer accession and stuff...
