Hang in their JoJo!

What did this person do to you? <Sorry bout that, what ever it was!>

Anyway, the problem at hand:

Verify that the OCX file is in the Windows\System directory, along with any associated DLL files (if any)

Click Start, Run and type in:

Regsvr32 *******.OCX  (where ******* represents the file name)

and touch enter.

NOTE: If an error occurs when registering a control, you should do the following:

1. Verify in the Registry that the control has not been registered before.

2. The the OCX file and *all* required DLL files are present.

NOTE: Windows 98 usually uses MSWINSCK.OCX, is the a reason your using WINSCK.OCX?

Well nitwit, then you did it wrong! Didn't your momma teach you any manners, or did she just throw your butt it a closet and feed you through a slit in the door. BTW: I've asked E&E to return your points and delete the question. If you're so damned smart, you'd also know that winsck.ocx is the wrong file anyway!

I can only imagine why you would want to register this file, but that is no one's business but your own.  You can download Ax702.zip, which is Microsoft's Internet Control Pack and it will register it for you. The file is approx. 2,114KB. Here is the address, please let me know if this helps.

I'm not exacly sure but I think it has something to do with finding IP's and Ports for malicious (my opinion) reasons.
Because anytime you see the word winsck.ocx it seems as though it is associated with a hacker page of some kind.
