hi,
I have VB5.0 installed both at home and office.
When i copy my VB projects from office (the whole directory) back to home to work, I can't open the project.
The error i got was:
"Threading Model" is an invalid key. The file "myproj.vbp" can't be loaded.

Please advise.
Thanks,
andrea

You don't have the same service pack on both machines.

If you don't want to install, open the module that gives you the error with your favorite text editor (mine is Notepad, and you?) and delete the line containing "Threading Model".

hi emoreau,
come to think of it, my VB at home has no service pack :)
just to clarify, when u mention "open the module that gives you the error  and delete the line containing "Threading Model", what exactly does module imply? is it a specific .ini file?

thanx,
andrea

Normally when you have this problem, an error message pops saying something like "Module xxx.cls cannot load because of the Threading model".

Open this xxx.cls module. It will be one of the module you write (form, class, standard module, ...). You find the line normally in the first 50 lines.
