My modem works AOK for Internet, but cannot get working for Modem Duke Nukem.  I select Generic Hayes Compatible from the list of modems in the game as there is no listing for a Rockwell 56K.  I don't know the correct init/connect/hang up strings?

Try 'AT&F0' -- "reset to factory-setting profile #0".
Most modern modems are "Hayes-compatible",
so 'ATH' is the "hang-up" string.

Thanks for the ultra quick response.
There are three areas to enter the strings

init
connect
hang up

I assume you have provided me with the init and hang up strings but do I need to put anything into the connect area (ie phone number etc)

Cheers with Beers
