Question 1: Try using the msdatgrd.ocx

question 2: remove the listview from your form and select the new one. After that you can remove the microsoft windows common control 5.0 sp2 from your project components

A treeview is the same in vb6 then it was in vb5. Normally you can still use all controls in vb6 that you were using in vb5. So normally you don't need to convert your project. Other wise you must change everything by yourself. I 've already searched to something to convert my projects, but I haven't found anything. When I tried out my projects in vb6, everything keeps working. So why converting? It's all the same.

Look at the article Q190952 on the Microsoft support site. It answers your second question.
