what about CGI components?
i dont know much about cgi but i'd presume it needs tcp/ip protocol to talk .if you want a cgi component there are loads at www.torry.ru under components page ,lan/communication section
i tried to find examples but cant find any for what you need :-(
im sure if you wait a while someone will come along with some

you probably want to use tcp/ip
the best thing is download f.piette's internet components (freeware),they come with good examples and full support online
