Mult. Scan 15 Display

I've seen this on other monitors before, but now mine is doing it!!  It goes back and forth between looking normal and having this agravating yellow tint...sucks for creating graphics!!  How can it be fixed or should I just bite it and buy a new one?

well here are my suggestions..
1) depending on how old the monitor is, toss it and get a new one. Not only is the yellow ting aggrivating but im sure its limiting size is as well (for graphics). If its any more than 3.5 years old toss it. It will be approaching the end of its life anyway.
2)if youre convinced it still has some life in it check all your connections and your cable. It may have been bent severely and severed something internally. Try a different cable even.
3)try something like adobes gamma correction controll panel (ships with photoshop etc). It may let you correct for that "funky" yellow enough to make it usable tho if its switching back and forth this probably isnt the best solution.

C only because I got little more than my own hunch to toss the damn thing, but you deserve the measly 20 I guess.  I was hoping for something more specific, however, something technical that will help me solve the problem at least until I can get around to replacing it.  Thanks.

im afraid the only readily available tech help we could give here without tearing the thing open and having a look ourselves is a loose connection somewhere in the cabling.
