I need to have a picture box resize to the size of the image that was just loaded.

I am sorry... What is the difference between a PictureBox and an Image component?  I was using the image component... You have the points though.

PictureBox is more flexible but has greater overhead. Image control shows an image and that is about that. Doesn't support the majority of the properties that PictureBox does. If you only have a few, you probably won't notice the performance hit. I use PictureBoxes with great success.

I just want to use 1, but need the resize stuff... I think I will go with the picbox... Thanks.

PictureBox works better and I've not really noticed the difference.
