I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I am sorry... What is the difference between a PictureBox and an Image component?  I was using the image component... You have the points though.

PictureBox is more flexible but has greater overhead. Image control shows an image and that is about that. Doesn't support the majority of the properties that PictureBox does. If you only have a few, you probably won't notice the performance hit. I use PictureBoxes with great success.

PictureBox works better and I've not really noticed the difference.
