I am continuing to get the message 'mmsystem 277. A problem occurred in initialising MCI. Try restarting Windows.' when I try to play attachments to emails - they always appear at the bottom of MSOutlook emails as ATTnnnnn.dat files. I have reinstalled v6.0 of media player as advised in another website, and I also removed and reinstalled Microsoft MCI Motion Video Device - but I'm still geting the same error. I can play videoclips from the net but when I try to run any files which come thru as attachments on email I keep getting this message. Can you help ?
