small paper clip in the left of the mail sender. However,
I cannot see the large paper clip in the below. What

In outlook express if you click the big paper clip on the right hand side of a mail message, a menu bar should come down with the attachments. If that does not happen when you have an attachment on an e-mail your outlook express is not installed correctly, and I would download an updated version from microsoft's web site.
