You can do this only with a graphic card capable of producing a TV signal or (even better) a standard video signal:

- Asus V3400TNT(/TV)
- Diamond Viper V550
- STB Velocity 4400

are some samples.

Keep in mind though, that you often only can use a very low screen resolution (quite often 640x480 pixels), because a TV can only display images in this range.

You need to buy a new video card ( for example ATI All In Wonder Pro, Intel  i740, Vodoo Bush, S3 Savage 3D, NVidia TnT ) if you don`t have already one of this or something of this kind ...
These cards are converting the digital signal emited by computer`s video card to an analogical signal , so you only need to connect the cable .

   Sorry for my english...

Hi xraul,

you haven't accidently used my comment to provide an answer, have you? It has a reason that I didn't give my comment as answer and you should consider to post a comment first too.

BTW. Your enumeration includes also graphic chips (instead of cards). Just curious: Do you know whether all graphic boards with, for instance, the i740 have TV adapters? I'm also interested in buying card with the RivaTNT. Have you a suggestion for a board with a TV adapter?. What about Permedia 3?

You can purchase a new video card like the suggestions above, or there are several companies that have a product that connects to the back of your existing video card that allow for standard TV viewing.  One of them is  AITech.  Good unit.  I have one.

Can you tell me the prices of each ? Is it too expensive ?

I have seen some trident cards with TV out for about $40/ They are just a standard 2mb card with nothing else special about them.  The are not going to be real performance cards by any means.  On the other hand, if you have a card you really like now, the converter box may be your best bet for under $100 you get to display on any TV, but you still get the advantage of a good graphics card.  Another advantage, is you can move the converter to any computer without difficulty.
That is the best I can give you.

Need to know how to look for specs on the TV adaptability of my card or perhaps someone knows - It's an AGP "Starfighter" board. It says 2D/3D is this enough?
