How can I find if my Window 9x is English, Turkish or other language?

Hi,

You can find it in the registry, in the key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control panel\International\

Value you should read is "Locale". It will give you the locale
number of the language ( Turkish is 41f ).
Here are the languages locales ( can also be found in the win32.hlp file. ):

The following 28 sublanguages/locales use the Latin 1 script:

I think that this only describes International settings, not the language version.In Turkish for example all names of Keys in Registry are Turkish .

The registry keys are the same in all version of windows.
If you do the above in russian windows, it will work.

The setting I told you about is telling you about which
language your windows is running.

Thats the only thing I can think of, sorry.
