Outlook Express Send Mail Problems

On another note, sometimes when I go to send mail, the message does not get sent and I receive the message "Recipient could not be verified by the server."  What does this mean and what can I do to correct that.  Whenever I get this I always double-check to make sure the address I am mailing is correct.  Thanks.

This error message is usually shown when your receiver's e-mail address is worng.  By the way, if you are sure that all e-mail address is correct, the problem may come from mail server configuration.  I would like to ask you to go to "Tool" menu and select "Account," then go to Mail account and double click on it.  Then go to "Server."  I would like you to check the parameter in Outgoing Mail(SMTP).  This information will shown what server is the e-mail sender server.  So, you have to set this parameter to be relative with your internet service provider(ISP).  By example, if you use Earthlink, you have to set it to be "mail.earthlink.net"   However, don't panic if you don't know anything about that.  Go to your ISP homepage and look for SMTP data or any help information from your ISP support homepage.  I hope this information will be able to help you to get through the problem.
