Please forgive any clumsiness in my inquiry - this is the first question I have posted...

I am posting a new online demo to our company web server, it uses .asf files with the Microsoft Media Player. The server person tells me we need to know what the command is to add the .asf file extension to server config file, for instance,
type=application/octet-stream  exts=bin, exe. I've searched Netscape's site but there's nothing about .asf files. Do any of you know the answer. Thank you in advance. Maggie

According to Explorer (on my W95 machine) .asf files have a mime type = video/x-ms-asf.

Hope that does it for you.
