I have an MDI Frame, with htmlview.
I open two HTML files. then when I go to the other
one, the child window becomes white and not updated.
if I move it around then it gets updated. is this a bug ??
how to avoid it ???

All the known painting bugs in the control have been fixed with the most recent SP of IE 4.01.  Make sure that's what you're running.
