the text of my netscape buttons and dialogue boxes is
a weird font.
i cant find the control panel that changes it.
what is it?
and can i get it off the web?

That isn't a problem with a control panel I'm afraid, it's a problem with corrupted files.

(There's no control panel that controls the basic system fonts pre system 8, and in 8 there are only two choices. 8.5 has more but that doesn't seem to be your problem or you would have noticed it everywhere, not just in Netscape)

This probably happened when you had  a crash of some kind, and we're probably talking about Netscape 3 right? I had this problem myself.

First of all, rebuild the desktop, then if that doesn't help, you need to reinstall Netscape, that should fix it -- but you may also want to reinstall your basic system fonts.
