Error 720: "No PPP control protocols configured" when accessing the Internet

Somehow our PPP control protocols are not properly set up in  NT 4, Small Business Server, SP 4.  Dial-up networking can properly access our ISP to the point of verifying the password, but errors at this point.  Our local computer dealer has had this problem with several NT setups.

If you have Netbeui enabled, it will act as the default protocol, uncheck this protocol and then make sure you have tcpip enabled on the dial up connection.

Netbeui *was not* installed; tcp/ip *was* installed.  I'll  check your references if I don't get the problem solved another way first.  Thanks!

The answer may have been good.  My dealer resolved the problem by re-installing NT.
