Setup Problem
I have create a VB app and packaged it using VB 6. It could be setup fine with most system but on one system after updating all the required dlls files it cannot have an error while trying to spawn the setup1.exe file.
The error msg : Cannot Start main setup program (Create Process() return error code 0x000000C1h)

try this
a brilliant tool i found to help with installation problems is at this site and it is for free
www.sysinternals.com
it is called DllView
it is a utility which once u run it shows you all the processes running currnetly on the Pc. Then double click on your applicartions exe file and it will show uy exactly what dll's your entire Exe is using. Then when u use Install shield double check that you have those dll's listed in the distribution setup of the app. What is also great is that the DllView also shows u what versions of dll's your app is using.
There is also on this site a tool called filemon which does a similar thing put also shows you what files are being used nut i prefer the first one (Dllview)
Also run both tols on your pc and the target pc and then compare the results you might find the problem
