&nbsp; &nbsp;I appreciate the attempt. &nbsp;I tried that, but I received another error indicating that there was no service.lck file to write to! &nbsp;I continued to think about it and discovered that there is a new server extensions download for Frontpage2000. &nbsp;I downloaded it and installed it on the web server and on my own system for kicks and everything worked fine! &nbsp;Thanks for responding, though. <br />

In Frontpage2000 when I select a web page that I have full rights to modify and attempt to open it within IE5, I am getting a Server error: Cannot open file &quot;W:\Inetpub\wwwroot\dsmnt\<wbr />_vti_pvt\s<wbr />ervice.lck<wbr />. &nbsp;I know this error has something to do with the frontpage server extensions and I've given everyone full access to write to the darn file, but I can't get rid of the error and open the web page. &nbsp;Could this have something to do with a corrupt server extensions on the web server? &nbsp;Please help me figure out this error. &nbsp;Thanks.
