Non responsive dialog

An application was created in VC ++ 1.5. The application is converted to VC++5.0 but when dialogs are added to this project, the new dialogs do not respond. The process of creation and message mapping appears to be the same. What could be the problem?

Recreate everything for scratch in VC++5.0
