asked on

Go to a specific view in Acrobat reader

I would like Acrobat readers to go to a specific view (not page) in the PDF file.
I know that some plug-ins help for that. But they only work in Acrobat Editor.

In fact i would like to modify the file afterwards. So that my chapter link would not be broken. Then i don't want to use the "Go to view" function which works with distance from the document border. I would like a kind of "named destination" working in Acrobat reader, but not the Postcript method.

Well I didn't even get my lousy 3 points, so I won't help you...
Not even by telling you how to use named destinations with acrobat.

I didn't expect you here, Michel !!!

Anyway thank you very much.

In fact Adobe mentionned me this site but i didn't get into the "Name it" part yet.

Give a couple of hours and will give you the few points I have left. I was a kind of frustrated with the message of the guy in the Javascript case. That's why i didn't give any thing.

Question you soon,

Michael.
