A friend and I are writing a program in VB that we want to put a help menu in.  The kind where you have a search engine within it.  I don't know much about VB and programming so I need a very vivid description on how to install that kind of help menu. Thanks.

The standard help engine that comes with VB is available to you simply by setting the project properties to the name of the .HLP file that you've created. The HCW (Help Creators Workshop) that is found on the Visual Studio package allows you to build a comprehensive help file including index and cross reference. No real programming effort is required, but you do need to learn how to use the tools.

Is that what you had in mind?

You can also easily integrate a web browser function that defaults to the web search engine of your choice.

RoboHelp7 is a better tool, but it costs $$$.
