Dear Experts,

How do I create a "movie scrolling" effect using MFC or Win32 API? Thankx.

By the way, the scrolling effect is like the ones you see at the end of a movie whereby the credits scroll from bottom up , fades in from the bottom and fades out from the top.

Go to and in the Static Controls section you will find an article about a CStatic-sublclass that does exactly that.

If you can create a window inside that client area, use it as it is. If not, look at the code and cut-and-paste parts of it.
