Why and when do I need to set relationships among tables ?

1 Solution
In simplest way, Relationships among tables are put to insure integrity of data.
Like you will not like to have a Employee in a Emp table belonging to a department
which is not present in Department table.
Usually the relationships are created among the table when you create the tables.
As a matter of fact, you can add relations afterwards also, if you wish, provided the data in the table is accordance with the relations.

Thank you very much !

But, is it the same as what I did in FoxPro and Paradox ?

And will the relationship affect to the other connections ?
