I am using VBScript and Java script on a web page, and I would like to be able to show the "Hand" pointer over some text/images in a table WITHOUT setting either as a link.

Any help please.

If you're using VBScript, then you're only using IE, right ??

the key is some inline CSS..
Add: style="cursor:hand;"

to the <img> tag, or <p> tag, or whatever tag you have around the element(s) you want this effect to apply to.

For arbitrary text, enclose the text with a <SPAN></SPAN> pairing, and add the 'style' text to the <SPAN> element.
<p>This bit <span style="cursor:hand;">here</span> changes the cursor</p>

Hope that does you.
