Automatic Table Width Adjustment

How can I create a table that will adjust its width to fit the records inside on one line, without having to set a definite width size? I've tried omitting the width tag altogether, but it keeps moving the content of long lines down to another line.

I don't want to set a definite width size, because the same table attributes appear on around 184 pages and not all the tables have long lines.

add the tag NOWRAP to your <TD> : <TD NOWRAP>blah</TD>
then the cell will adjust it's size

I can't believe how simple this is! I'd never thought of using the NOWRAP attribute in a <TD> tag.

Thank you so much :-)
