i have lost the help files on windows 98.could you tell me how to reinstall them my windows 98 cd.thank you and have a happy 4th.

Wow.  Big mistake :)

The easiest way of doing this without having to reinstall Windows is to open a Command Prompt, change into \Windows\Help and type the following:

extract /a x:\Win98\ *.hlp
extract /a x:\Win98\ *.chm
extract /a x:\Win98\ *.cnt
extract /a x:\Win98\ *.hti
extract /a x:\Win98\ *.tsc

(replace x: with the letter of your CD-ROM).
