(50 pts) Finding Current IP Address

I need an ActiveX Control or the VB Code that will return the current IP Address.  If you have an .OCX that will do this, I need it's dependancy file (.DEP) as well.

Where are the 50 points?

Use the Microsoft Winsock Control to get the IP address.

Text1.Text = Winsock1.LocalIP

Thats all.

I hope that you don't forget the 50 points :-)
Regards.

kamall,

Good Answer !  Just what I was looking for.  Quick, clean, and it's a Microsoft ActiveX Control.   =]

One think you did fail to mention which I figured out is that you need to go to your Components dialog and add the "Microsoft Winsock Control".  Once this is added, you can make that call to it : Winsock1.LocalIP

Thanks HATCHET.
I thought that you (and everybody) already know how to add a new component to your project. Thats why I didn't mention it.
Regards.
